Neil Stockton from the Prescott Astronomy Club will discuss Project Phoenix-the restoration of a classic Newtonian reflector telescope built in the 1950s by Jackson T. Carle, a famous amateur astronomer from Fresno, California. Mr. Stockton will explain his two-year restoration project in detail and the telescope will be at the meeting for public viewing.
