Before enlisting to help fight WWI, Ernest A. Love had already become a hometown hero on the football field. Then, in 1917, he joined the Army and served as a pilot, flying missions in Europe. In September of 1918, Love was unfortunately shot down and killed on a mission in France. This September through Veteran's Day in November, our airport celebrates the life and service of this young man through photographs and memorabilia. Exhibit presented by the City of Prescott, the American Legion and Sharlot Hall Museum.
