Geology Talks: Abandoned Mine Lands in New Mexico

Event Details

Annette Sunda, a geologist with GEM Environmental, will be discussing her experience working on Abandoned Mine Lands in New Mexico. In her talk, she will touch on the geologic history and mining history of each of the six mining districts she's visited and the cultural significance of the lands she's been working on. 
Geology Talks are in partnership with â€‹GEM Environmental and presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library. This is an in-person event with a Zoom option. Meeting rooms will have limited capacity. Staff will be wearing masks and face coverings for attendees are strongly advised.
